This year we attended the Spirit of Alba festival in Kirkintilloch!
It was a fantastic day out and we thoroughly enjoyed chatting to like minded whisky enthusiasts. It was great to see our Goldfinch Whisky being enjoyed by everyone there.
The Linkwood from our Bodega Series was the favourite of the day! It was a raving success as the most drinkable whisky and was described as ‘smooth’ and ‘beautifully nutty’. The Paloma range also received a lot of compliments, the Palo Cortado sherry finish was a big hit.
Our Director, Andrew thoroughly enjoyed participating at the recent festival, “It was fantastic to see our drams being enjoyed and also introducing our brand to new fans. It was a successful day for all and we look forward to going back next year.”
Our Wine Series enticed a couple of new non-whisky drinkers (who were wine lovers instead) over to our stand.
We introduced them to a 14yo Blair Athol finished in a Red Wine Barrique from a Chateau just North of Pauillac, in Bordeaux, France. This is from our Wine Series. The deep warm plum notes with caramel and vanilla won them over – they were so excited that they even ordered their first bottle of whisky!
