Our signature series of single malt scotch matured in the finest sherry casks
Our icon, the European Goldfinch
Marked out by the vibrant splash of red on its head – the Goldfinch makes its summer home in Scotland, stripping the rich feathery down from our native thistles to line its nest. When winter falls, these distinctive little birds migrate to the south of Spain, settling close to the sherry bodegas that the whisky industry relies on for its supply of richly seasoned casks.
We selected five single casks of unpeated Speyside and Highland single malt whisky, mainly at 13 or 14 years old. The range name, “Bodega Series”, identifies our dedication to using only the finest sherry casks which previously held Oloroso, Amontillado or PX to mature our single malt whisky and further develop the character of our signature series.
We chose a beautiful natural sea grass green and a gold foil with a traditional label design to emphasise that our focus is on quality. The label highlights that our single malt, single cask whisky is natural in colour, non-chill filtered and cask strength. The limited number of bottles, type and size of sherry cask used are also listed.
